Dr. Uchida is Medically Trained in the Use of:

Botanical/Herbal Medicine and Chinese Herbs

The organic nature of herbs is compatible with the body's organic chemistry, so they are safe, gentle and effective. In addition, they work to strengthen and cleanse organ systems, stimulating them to perform their functions more efficiently.

Better Health Through Natural Healing and Nutritional Supplementation

Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, enzyme and glandular medicines are most beneficial for states of deficiency. They effectively strengthen the function of weakened glands or organs.

Clinical Nutrition

Illness is caused by poor dietary choices that result in toxin overload or nutritional deficiencies. Proper nutrition stimulates the recovery from illness, and is the foundation to creating health.

Homeopathic Medicine

Homeopathy works similarly to vaccinations as it introduces subatomic particles of medicine that stimulate the body's self-healing mechanisms to gently create balance and health.

Physical Medicine

Dr. Uchida uses a unique variety of techniques to treat many physical and neurological pain conditions. Treatments may include deep muscle release and exercise therapy, spinal and joint manipulation, and gentle nerve and muscle stimulation and regenerative therapies that balance the hip and spine, relieving pressure or irritation on nerves and muscles.

Preventative Health Care

Education is the key to understanding one's role in healing the body and/or optimizing health. Dr. Uchida provides support in the process of making healthy lifestyle changes by sharing vital information that impacts health and wellness.

Dr. Uchida's Beliefs

Physician Heal Thyself:

Dr. Uchida deeply believes that the doctor will understand health only if he is optimally well. He truly becomes a doctor when he has practiced successfully on himself first. He should lead by example and ask his patients to do only what he himself is doing or has done in the past.

The Healing Power of Nature:

The human body is the most unique and ingenious, complex self maintaining system ever created. It strives to maintain and restore vital health, for its natural state is optimum wellness. Dr. Uchida focuses his treatments and medicines to flow with this universal law.

Doctor as Teacher:

The literal meaning of "doctor" is teacher. Dr. Uchida's primary goal is to educate the patient in understanding that the human body is naturally affected by its environment. We are ultimately responsible and accountable for our health status. The choices that we make have either a positive or negative impact on our bodies.

Identify and Treat the Cause:

The underlying cause of illness and disease must be identified and removed before complete recovery is restored. Eliminating or suppressing a symptom bring only temporary relief and mask future catastrophes.

First Do No Harm:

This belief above all else warrants that the physician should never prescribe any substance that may harm the body. For it is useless to take one step forward then two steps back, as the body now has more problems to overcome.

Treat the Whole Person:

This acknowledges that the harmonious interaction between physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of the body is essential to health. All areas must be balanced before total health is achieved.

Prevention is the Best Medicine:

After all, isn't it better to avoid a major problem than to rush hurriedly into one, only to find yourself in agony trying to undo a disaster that could have been prevented?
